• Question: why do you think you should win the money?

      I’d personally like to win the money in order to fund events to encourage others into engineering and apprenticeships.

      If i win the money it will go towards the hosting of a new event we have planned in October called STEM@Sea (website coming soon!) intended to increase awareness of the huge variety of amazing career opportunities in the Ocean Science, Hydrographic Survey and Marine Technology sectors… 80% of our planet is covered in water, there is so much going on out there and we want more young people to get involved.

      I hope to win to fund science school visits. I think that the more young people are need to know that science and engineering can be fun and we’re not weird!
