Hi,
I really enjoyed school, but I was never very focussed and I this frustrated my teachers (and parents) because they could see the potential in me. My grades were good in the end, I did enough work to achieve respectable results but if I had applied myself a little more I would have got even better results. Did this effect my education? No, I left school well educated and set up for a successful career in engineering. Since then I have applied myself when required and achieved much, but I also know when to ease back on the work and concentrate on the important things like family and health. Finding the right balance is important, you don’t always get it right, but identifying your priorities and concentrating on those first is the key.
