• Question: Do you think the Big Bang Theory is a realistic portrail of a modern theoretical engineer?

      not at all.
      Not sure if the characters are accurate, but the discussions they have which are meant to be “clever” and about “science” are just… urgh.
      Any three real scientists / engineers stood around would not have any of their discussions, they’d be much more difficult to understand.

      HAHA – there are some people at my workplace who are definitely a bit ‘big bang’.

      The vast majority though are fairly normal people I’m afraid…!

      The big bang theory is a good show but I don’t know anyone like that in real life!
