Question: how do you feel being a women engineer??? do you think that people stereotype men as engineers???

  Hi it’s great to be an engineer although yes there are a lot more men in the profession than women. I’ve never been the only woman in the office but it is usually a really small percentage. Sometimes people are surprised when I tell them I’m an engineer. Some say ‘Oh that’s a good profession for a girl’ and ‘wow that’s impressive’ which I guess is a little insulting but you just have to ignore them and get on with it.
