My job can be challenging at times, but colleagues will (and should!) give you the help and support you need to complete a task.
Perhaps the thing I find most challenging is setting out what work I actually have to do. So at school in maths, say, you’ll go through some formulae in a lesson, and then the teacher will say ‘do questions 1-5 for homework’ i.e. the work you have to do is clearly defined, you just have to get on and do it.
In a job the briefs are a bit more vague ‘Ben we need you to design a new gizmo’ and the most challenging part is actually working out what needs to be done before you can actually get on and smash some work out…! You get there in the end though, and there’s a lot of satisfaction in that.
