      The greatest metal singer the world has ever known? Well no actually I realised I have a terrible voice at quite an early age! I always wanted to be a scientist, working with bubbling vials of coloured liquid.

      When I was really young it was things like fireman/fighter pilot (the usual) – from about 13 I had a good idea that I wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer…
