• Question: Would you say the world of engineers need more female engineers?

      The world of engineering isn’t going to stop if there aren’t any more female engineers but there is plenty of room for more ladies and there shouldn’t be anything stopping girls who are interested in engineering taking it up as a profession.

      Personally I think it would be nice to see more of a gender balance in the workplace. Where I am women make up 10% of the workforce (I believe)…!

      That said, the most important thing is that men and women are free to choose the careers they want, without feeling put off certain jobs because of gender.
