Something went “wrong” during my undergraduate degree. I got very sick about halfway through university and had to take two breaks to take care of my health. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to finish. My family supported me a lot, but I did have to finish my degree at a university closer to home so that I could get care. It’s really important to remember that life happens and that you should be your top priority. There’s no rush to get a career, and no “perfect” way to do it, and it’s ok to have to stop something and say “I can’t do this right now.”
