“Are driverless cars safe?”
“Is engineering suitable for anyone?”
The ways we travel are changing faster than ever before and engineers are at the heart of this growing industry. In this zone, parents and carers meet engineers creating the future of transport, get to ask questions about what they are working on and find out about engineering careers.
Parents and carers:
Until Friday 17th November you can:
There are engineers designing systems for self-driving cars, planning the infrastructure for high speed trains, developing new fuel technologies and materials for aeroplanes, designing electric foldable bikes and more.
The Future Transport Zone is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering. All schools offered places in I’m a Scientist and I’m an Engineer UK can give the parents and carers of their students access to this zone – ask your child’s teacher for more information.
