I’m working on a technology to change how prosthetics are designed to make them fit better and prevent further injury. The way prosthetics are fitted hasn’t really changed much for over 100years, so it’s time to address those issues.

My project might sound complicated and difficult to understand. But drilling composite materials is a very big problem in the industry which prevents industries to use more composite materials in their products because by drilling them (which is necessary most of the times, because they need holes) they are also making the composite weaker. so instead they would use metals. However, composites can be as strong as metals but much much lighter in weight. So in my project, I have found a way to make holes in composite without making it weaker, which means industries such as aerospace, automotive and many more can start using more composite materials, which leads to less weight, and less weight means less fuel is needed, which is both economically and environmentally important (meaning also cheaper plane tickets since they don’t use as much fuel anymore…)
