I liked all the subjects that I didn’t really need to memorise, and could actually connect with them and understand them. I really liked physics, it just made so much sense to me, I didn’t need to memorise it, I could just understand it.
My favourite subjects were: maths and design & technology. I also really enjoyed science, particularly phsyics and chemistry.
I love maths because it’s so methodical and you know when you have got to the right answer. If you follow a set process, there’s no reason that you can’t achieve the final result. It’s similar with science, but with that I liked how it related to the world that we live in.
Design & Technology was the only hands on subject I did. I really enjoyed designing and then creating solutions to problems that I saw. Or just making things that I thought would be pretty cool (with a bit of a twist of course!) I spent most of my spare time in the workshop and entered competitions throughout school.
Maths because I like seeing how something so complex is applicable in everyday life in so many ways.
Modern Studies because I really like learning about the differences in cultures and societies, and how that influences the modern world and politics now.
