      I would donate the money to the school aid website, where you can make donations to the schools in need of money and equipment. I will donate the money for STEM kits through this website, so hopefully, kids in Africa can also learn more about STEM subjects. I already do loads of STEM activities through my company and we have a big budget for the schools here in the UK, so I would love to be able to give that money to a school that is really in need.

      I would work to develop workshops that we can use in schools or your teachers can use that explore all the things that STEM subjects relate to. It’ll be different to what you learn at school with some real examples of how we use STEM to do research to prevent and treat blast injuries. We want to share our love of STEM with as many people as possible and show that it’s so much more exciting that it can seem in school.
      We’d also invest in some better equipment for the podcast I do with another researcher who I work with. We publish episodes every month to tell people about lots of different things related to blast injuries.

      I would develop soft robots that can be used at schools or for the general public where people can learn about a new field of robotics and engage with what engineering is while moving this squishy odd looking robot around.

      I would create a board game to take to schools and events. The aim of this is to learn about the sewer systems, and how it’s related to human life and the environment are when we certain scenarios happen, such as fatbergs, flushing wet wipes, flooding, etc.

      I would like to provide further opportunities to those children and young adults from less privileged backgrounds to learn and engage about engineering. I’d collaborate with WaterAid UK, to deliver specific types of educational workshops and events to schools across the country to highlight the importance of clean water and safe sanitation.
