My Work
I am a researcher investigating how people interact with technology, from medical devices, to novel technology in museums and theatres to help people with visual impairments

My Typical Day: I can either be researching (writing about experiments I’ve done, or learning about experiments other people have done) or making things with my colleagues! That can involve soldering, sewing or programming!

What's the best thing you've done in your career?
Difficult to pick one thing, every new thing you make is exciting in its own way.
What or who inspired you to follow your career?
A visit to Bletchley Park made me realise how amazing computer science is, and what possibilities there were for making and creating
What did you want to be after you left school?
A vet I think…
If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?
A mathematician with a full time making hobby!

Chocolate covered pretzels
